Doctor Michelle Swan,first log for Project V.

The subjects for the project arrived this morning. The scouts say that 4 and 6 needed to be born via Caesarean. 7's mother backed out just after birth,the subject was found with their umbilical cord wrapped around their throat.

CAT scans were done on all subjects. Medical scans came back clean. 7's brush with death seems to have left the subject unaffected,but we'll keep an eye out for problems.

All subjects have assimilated to the strain of the project. Worries arose that we would lose 2 and 5,both are still of vents to help them breath. 1 and 3 are already active,and responding to their new food. 7 has taken well to being separated from the others,the strain seems to be reacting to the minimal brain damage we found in subject,but is responding to medication.

We lost 5 today. The strain turned against the subject,we found 5 dead,the subject had chewed through their arms,bleeding to death. 6 and 3 did not take the news well,2 is back on the vent,4 and 7 are unresponsive to the news. We have weaned 7 off of the medication,we plan to introduce fresh food into the subjects diet.

We introduced a new strain of the project into all subjects. 6,2,and 3 all died as a result. 1,4,and 7 are all we have. I fear we may lose 4 tonight,the subject has become unresponsive to the food. 7 seems to be flourishing under the new strain,the brain damage we've been recording has been in regression.

We've lost 4 and 1. The project now rests on 7's survival.

7 has been in the medical bay for six weeks. I fear we may lose the subject soon.

The Illusive Man has ordered a shut down. 7 has gone into a coma. There is little doubt in my mind that once the machines are turned off,7 will die. A full white wash of non essential staff will be happening after the other doctors and I are reassigned.

The Illusive Man has forwarded me a photo. I almost jumped out of my skin,it was 7! The subject survived. He has ordered a bounty on 7,though reports state that no one ha come close to capture. Part of me is torn at this news. Project V was a nightmare,what we did was unforgivable. 7 took the strain perfectly,changed it somehow. 7 is a nightmare.

The bounty has been called off. 7 is with Commander Shepard. I have seen more reports. 7 must be on a man made medication. I remember the coloring the subject took when food was fresh. I feel almost motherly seeing 7 paler than the subject should be. 7 was my creation.

7 is on the Citadel. Commander Shepard left 7 and the young drell here. This is my chance. 7 has been looking weaker lately,and rumors are that two of my old co-workers have put a new bounty of 7. I can't let it happen. Something in 7's DNA kept the subject alive though we lost six others. The subject's body stores much to much information for me to just let her die.
