Fox flew his Arwing above the base, narrowly dodging laser blasts from Star Wolf. In his ear, he heard a myriad of voices, each screeching at him and assuming that he was listening to them personally. He needed to concentrate and destroy the transmitter before it gave the order to destroy the base. The voiced were being ridiculously distracting and Fox was at the end of his patience.

"Do a barrel roll!" How about no?

"Ahh! Help me!" Jesus.

"Hey Einstein, I'm on your side." See if I help you again.

"Take care of the guy behind me, Fox!" What? You too?

"Help me!" Why do we even let him come?

"Hey Einstein, I'm on your side." Wow, fuck off.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that Star Fox." Do what? We haven't done anything!

Fox took a shot at Wolf; he missed and accidentally singed Peppy's Arwing. "What's the big idea, Fox?" It was an accident, geeze!

"Andross's enemy is my enemy." I don't care!

"Ahh! Help me!" Again?

"Do a barrel roll!"

"Hey Einstein, I'm on your side."

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that Star Fox."

"Daddy screamed real good when he died."

"I am the great Leon!"

"Andross's enemy, is my enemy."

Fox tried to help Slippy. "Hey, what's the big idea? Quit shooting at me!"

Two seconds later, "Ahh! Help me!"

And just like that, the patience ran out.

"THAT'S IT!" Fox screamed over the headset. For one there was silence. Fox directed the Arwing high into the atmosphere and hovered there, taking deep breaths.

"I can't take it anymore!"

"Star Wolf, stop rubbing my Father's death in my face. If I've heard it once, I've heard it a million times! And Andrew, I know you're working for Andross, so stop telling me! Leon, we all know who you are! Wolf, we haven't done anything for you to prevent us from doing, so stop saying you're going to!"

Fox took a deep breath and realized something, "Wait, how are you even on this channel?" Before anyone could answer Fox said, "You know what? Forget it. I don't really care anymore."

"Erm, Fox?" Peppy started, "You think you can get back to the mission?"

"Oh, I'm just getting started! Falco, I'm not trying to shoot you. I'm trying to get the guys behind you. Trust me, if I wanted to kill you, I could have done it a long time ago. Peppy, I don't want to do a barrel roll! What the hell makes you think that doing a barrel roll is appropriate in this situation?"

And Slippy. Oh Slippy. You are the most incompetent, unreliable, and useless pilot I have ever met! How the hell do you keep getting in trouble all the time? And just so you know, there are 2 other pilots on this team who are perfectly capable of helping you! So stop yelling at me to help you every 5 seconds!"

Fox took a very deep breath. On the headsets, there was total silence.

Fox smiled, "Now Star Wolf, go fuck yourselves. Star Fox, you can take care of the problems by yourselves now, because I quit!"

And with that, Fox left to go to anger management. He would later return to help the military with their team building exercises, using his meltdown as an example of "long repressed anger directed to specific person or persons." His work would prevent many frustrated team leaders from having breakdowns.
