Letty's POV
We just moved from Dominican Republic to Los Angeles California i sat on the porch looking around the street thinking it's not as bad I as imagined. i head off into my room shove my bags to one side, jumped on the bed and start to chill, 'Leticia yells my mom, so I swing my door open and go downstairs, 'I noticed a grocery store called torettos as we drove onto the street can you head over and grab some nachos and sodas said my mom,I let out a big sigh as I hold out my hand for the change. I walk down the street I notice a garage my face light up I loved working with cars back home in the D.R with my father before he died that's why we moved here my mom wanted a fresh start for us both, I carried on walking till I got to the store I walked in saw a girl not much younger then me sitting behind the counter painting her nails, I was looking around the store when I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around to see the girl from the counter.
"Hey do you need any help the girl said"
"Do you sell any car magazines I said"
Yes just around the corner from the milk, are you new around here?
"Yes me and my mom just moved here from the D.R I said"
" Hey I'm Mia"
" I'm leticia but my friends back home call me Letty"
" nice to meet you Letty do you want hang out when my brother gets back "said Mia
" I can't right now i got to finish unpacking but tomorrow I can" Letty said
"I don't mind helping you unpack if you want be nice hanging out with you more" said Mia
"Yeah that would be nice I just got to ask my mom first but she will be cool with it, I turned around before I knew it I walked into what I thought was the wall when actually it turned out to be a tanned boy with muscles wearing a wifebeater
