A/N: For MelBelle24. This is her plot…

Snippets

My fingers skim over her skin. Eyes close, breathing in her perfume.

But she's not her…

—o0o—

She's back. Unwhole. Missing parts of herself—and me.

But she's back.

—o0o—

My foot on the gas, hand on the gear, I turn the steering wheel.

I'm racing against a friend.

The buildings, the roads all pass in a blur.

—o00—

Han has lost. I win.

Same thing as before…

It reminds me of death.

—o0o—

Around me, girls and cars.

Shiny, sleek, beautiful.

I tip the bottle then throw it.

Feeling the pair of boobs squash to my chest, I and this strange girl gyrate to the upbeat music blasting from the speakers. A little drunk—mighty drunk—I laugh hard.

—o0o—

Leaning on her own car, I can feel her eyes on me— her dark angry eyes. I laugh some more. Killing this guilt inside my chest.

With alcohol on my breath, I mutter something and the girl in my arms laughs again.

I chuckle with her.

But the pain is still there.

—o0o—

She moves, walking away.

Smiling towards acquaintances, nodding to some strangers.

Then she sees someone that made her stop on her tracks.

She just grabs this boy and mashes her lips on his.

I forget the pain as I feel rage blossoms on my chest.

—o0o—

I see her lips quirk into a smirk, whispering nothing into the boy's ear.

I see him laugh.

I see her laugh.

—o0o—

I slowly remove what's-her-name's arms from around me.

Striding forcefully towards her.

Each step hitting the concrete purposefully.

My hands clench, my jaws clamp shut.

My heart thuds furiously, blood boiling.

—o0o—

Her memory's defective.

If it's not she'll remember, she's my girl. My. Mine.

I grab her arm that she has draped around the bastard.

I push her to the side and without warning swing my fist.

The boy yelps, ungainly falling to the ground while something red drips from his lips.

"I'll always fight for her, asshole," I growl.

—o0o—

He should get the message.

What is mine is mine.

And Letty is mine alone.

—o0o—

Letty pushes me and helps the boy stand up.

The twerp shakes off her help, mumbling something about revenge.

"Let's go," I order, grasping an arm and forcefully dragging her away.

—o0o—

"Fuck off!" she shouts.

My arms swiftly go around her. I embrace her tightly that I can even feel that I'm crushing her bones.

"I lost you once. I'm not again," I mutter into her hair.

I feel her tense body relax.

—o0o—

"Is that why you're hurting me?" she asks.

Caressing her skin, getting drunk in her perfume, I'm about to deny her words, and then I remember.

Han lost. I won.

That's when I realize I still have that something that I don't want to lose ever again.
