The moon started shining in the well known Fur Power forest. Where most of the circus animals were sleeping. They had just finished their circus job around the world. It took them 11 years to really perform around the world. Alex was awake, gathering his fish and cutting them nice and fresh. One by one, Alex cut the heads of the fish and ate the bodies. They were delicious for him. He enjoyed the taste of them.

"Fish just gets more delicious every minute!" Exclaimed Alex happily.

As he finished eating his last fish for the night, He heard Gia humming Love Always Comes as a Surprise remembering the time Alex taught her trapeze americano. She was smiling as she hummed and got her nails done. Alex sighed as he watched her do her nails as he got surprised. He looked at the moon and went up to her:

"Hi Gia. What are you doing at night? Just curious." Said Alex as he put his right shoulder on the wooden wall of the Fur Power train section of Gia's own room.

"Hey Alex. I'm just getting my nails done. You've never seen me do that before, huh?" Asked Alex as she gave him a cute grin.

"Yeah. Hey listen, um... I was just wondering if we could... You know, sit down for a while and, look at the moon." Asked Alex as he blushed.

"I like the idea Alex." Gia smiled as she put her red cherry nail polisher down on her little desk and demonstrated her neatly done nails to Alex.

"What do you think Alex?"

Alex took both Gia's hands, he blushed as he said:

"Gia, they're beautiful."

"Thanks. So, are we going to see the moon? Or..." Asked Gia to Alex in a confusion look on her face but with her same cute grin.

"Oh yeah. Come on." Said Alex as Gia followed him to a rock where they could sit down and watched the beautiful moon together.

So Alex and Gia sat down. They looked at the moon lovingly. Gia asked:

"So, Alex? There's something I need to tell you."

"What is it Gia?" Asked Alex in return as he looked more at the moon.

"Um... I always loved you." Said Gia in embarrassment as she blushed and covered her face with her paws after a slight groan.

"Awww, that's so sweet Gia. Thanks for telling me that." Replied Alex.

"No! I really mean it. From the time I first met you, to the time you defeated Chantel DuBois doing our trapeze americano. I took a glance at you and found out, you were the nicest, most handsome, most brave lion I've ever met in my entire life. You inspired me so much that, It changed my life forever. And I want to thank you, for being always there for me."

Admitted Gia to Alex. She just said her true feelings to his loving friend. Alex grinned a really warm grin as he replied:

"Gia, I am really happy that you just said that. It touched my very heart."

"I knew you would be." Grinned Gia romantically.

"I mean, I really hoped this would happen! I'm so happy with you!"

Said Alex in total happiness as he carried Gia with his hands and they both laughed. But when Alex put her down, they sighed and looked at each other with very warm smiles. They leaned towards each other and kissed on the lips with much calmness. They stopped and looked at each other again with their smiles.

"Gia, I love you so much. Will you be my girlfriend?" Asked Alex to Gia with his smile.

Gia smiled and hugged him very tightly. Alex looked at her in the back, and closed his eyes with a sigh and smile while hugging her. Gia, sort of did the same and replied:

"Gladly Alex."

So, as they finished hugging, they held hands and danced as the song Love Always Comes as a Surprise played as a wonderful relationship started between Alex and Gia, that will last for the rest of their lives.
