Lei: Whelp, I thought I'd write a short little story while I suffer from my writer's block with Black Rose Calling, so here it is people!!
Vulpus: Despite the fact that I, her muse am still present, she suffers from writers block!! Oh the indignity of it all!!!
Lei: …You are SUCH a drama queen Vulpus…
Vulpus: Oh you know you love me.

Kurama sat in his science class, pointedly trying to ignore the admiring looks the female ratio of his class kept sending him while the sensei wasn't looking. He wasn't paying much attention to his sensei, considering he knew everything the sensei was attempting to teach, or to the girls that adored him. The results of living for such an extended period of time. He sighed and turned to look out the window. And emerald eyes met garnet. He started slightly and calmed down after realizing it was only Hiei. Thankfully, Hiei's presence and Kurama's odd behavior went unnoticed by both student and sensei. Turning back to the front, the red head spoke telepathically with Hiei.
'What brings you here, Hiei?' Kurama glances out of the corner of his eye to look at his small fire Koorime friend.
'Not much kitsune. Just curiosity.' A small smirk formed on the Jagan wielding fire Koorime as he replied. One that did not go unnoticed by the red headed kitsune that sat directly beside the window that the tree Hiei was perched on grew. Kurama chuckled slightly. Luckily his amusement went unnoticed by all save for Hiei.
'Curiosity? I suppose. But curiosity of what?' Hiei's smirk grew wider at Kurama's question.
'Curiosity as to why you put yourself through this, despite the fact that this is knowledge you acquired quite some time ago.' Kurama considered this for a moment before he answered his friend's statement.
'I do believe that we've already been over this before, my little fire Koorime friend.'
Kurama seemed to forget he was in class as he conversed with Hiei, and a glassy look came upon his brilliant forest eyes. And unbeknownst to the posing student, the sensei has come aware that his top student had become inattentive. And to say the least, he wasn't that fond of his top student to begin with. So he carefully thought of a science question that would baffle even a college student in their last year of science of the highest degree. He saw no way that Shuichi Minamino, a fifteen year old, could answer this question that was completely above his level.
"Minamino-kun!" Kurama's eyes snapped back into focus to look at his smirking sensei.
"Hai, Tamao-sensei?" the teacher then proceeded to ask the question he so carefully picked out. The class was dead silent after he asked the question, but Kurama only sighed, and answered the question. ()
Tamao just stared at his student. Finally he rechecked his answer, and promptly proceeded to pass out cold.
Several of the students screamed, while others rushed over to help their sensei wake up. Kurama just sat and watched with amusement. When Tamao woke up, he looked directly at Kurama.
" That…that is… correct…" once more a deadly hush came upon the students in the room, and Hiei's voice entered Kurama's head, just as the sensei passed out once more.
'I see. So that's why.' Kurama only smirked.
() - I couldn't think of a question and answer, so I just didn't put anything there!!! I hope it didn't sound too too bad...
