Please review!004. Wet
It was the hottest summer ever. At least that's what it felt like to Harry Potter. Since he was with Severus and they were living together, Harry had the privilege of staying at Hogwarts, his first real home. Because of the heat, the-boy-who-lived-to-defeat-Voldemort-multiple-times had invited his two best friends over so that they could play in the Black Lake. Of course Hermione and Ron had lives but Ron didn't have to work that day as only a few seasoned Aurors were at the Ministry, training new recruits. Hermione worked from home, so she could take a break. After much pleading, kissing, and then threatening, Sev had consented to join them in their day of fun. This had one benefit that the Potions Master hadn't foreseen; he got to enjoy time alone with Harry out in the ground before the Weasleys made an appearance.
They had set an alarm that would let them know when the other two members of the Golden Trio made it to Hogwarts to give them ample time to restore some level of decency and decorum to their appearance before the couple could see them. Although if asked, Hermione would state that she wished that they didn't got to such measures because Harry should feel comfortable showing his feelings towards someone that finally made him happy.
They finally showed up besides the tree situated just next to the lake and Harry ran to greet his first friends. Snape and Ron were civil and Hermione was warm and enthusiastic. Ron and Harry both had Gryffindor board shorts and Hermione had a modest lavender bikini on. Severus had the same as Harry, though his were, of course, black. Harry was happy; it had taken a lot of cajoling just to get the Head of Slytherin to don those. Ron and Harry launched themselves into the blessed wet escape, splashing Hermione and Severus in the process. They laughed and played all day; even Sev let loose a bit. Harry went so far as to surf on one of the Giant Squid's tentacles.
When it was finally dusk, Hermione and Ron bid the couple good night and after exiting the wards, Apparated home. Harry watched them go and then turned to Severus. As they walked back to the castle with Severus' arm around Harry's shoulders Harry commented, "That was fun." The response that he received stunned him. "We should do that again some time." Potter stopped walking and put his hand on the Slytherin's forehead. "Are you sure you're feeling okay?" Severus pushed the Gryffindor forward. "Get inside brat."
