Sakura read the letter slowly, shock and horror diffusing across her lovely face, her emerald orbs growing larger and larger. Tears began coursing down her cheeks by the time she reached the end of it. Yue and Kero stood next to her, faces impassive, waiting for what terrible news she had just received.
"Well?" Kero demanded after Sakura had dropped the letter to the ground. "What's wrong?"
"I can't tell you," Sakura said, bawling her eyes out as she sunk to the ground, her hands covering her face. "It's t-too horrible!" Yue reached down and picked up the abandoned piece of paper and began reading outloud.
"Dear Ms. Kinomoto," he started. "We regret to inform you that your boyfriend Li Syaoran has run off with your best friend, Daidouji Tomoyo." Sakura sobbed. "Also, your childhood home has burnt down and killed your father in the process. Additionally, there was a terrible car accident and your brother didn't make it." Sakura sobbed louder, her wails beginning to bounce off the surrounding buildings. Yue's bored facial expression did nothing to help the situation.
"We also regret to inform you that all of your childhood friends now hate you as a result of a rumor that was spread in your absence and Eriol has turned evil and is wreaking havoc in England somewhere." Yue snorted with what may have been laugher.
"Lastly, in your attempt to either avenge your father or brother or seek revenge on your unfaithful boyfriend and best friend, you will either succumb to darkness and kill someone or be hit by a car, fall off a cliff or meet some other unfortunate ending. Thank you for your time, Anonymous."
Sakura woke up in a cold sweat, nearly banging her head on her bed and sending Kero who was trying to wake her flying into the wall.
"I-ittai," he winced, picking himself up off the floor. "Ne, Sakura! What was that for?"
"Oh, thank Kami it was a dream," the girl said, shivering. "That was awful."
"What was awful?" Kero-chan asked, curious what could get his mistress, the powerful sorceress around so scared.
"I was in a horrible drama fan-fiction," she said, dead-panned. Kero, typically, face planted.
