A/N: I've been having the urge to write this oneshot, so here it is. hope you like it. It's probably the most emotional Grojband fic I ever created. It might be short, but very few words are needed to bring out strong emotions.

Corey Riffin's life was miserable. After Laney moved away, he slowly started to see the twins less and less. Eventually, they started to hang out with other people. Now he was all alone, and hated it.

He was already twenty-one years old. Trina was away at college and his dad was working late, so he had the house to himself. He looked worse than he did back when he was twelve. His hair was shaggier, shielding his sad eyes from the world. He was very pale and very thin, a sign he was barely eating and not even going outside. At the moment, he was only wearing white boxers, But he didn't care. He stopped caring about his appearance a long time ago.

Corey looked at the piece of paper in his hand. The black words on the sheet made him feel worse, tears dripping onto the lettering and making them blur just slightly.

You're invited to the wedding of Anthony Newton and Laney Penn.

That wedding was three weeks ago. Laney had already moved on and she found happiness with another guy. Corey didn't want to attend. Receiving the invitation was too much for him. He never moved on, his heart always belonging his Lanes. He knew she was already happy without him, not even giving a darn about his strong feelings, or even all those times he made close contact with her.

But tonight was going to change that. He vowed to get rid of his pain. He was going to move on and make his life better for him and everyone he knew. He put the invitation on his bed and walked over to his desk drawer, pulling out a small object. He held on to it for a while, but he never used it.

Now was finally that chance. With no one home, he could do it without anyone stopping him. This was the night Corey was going to make his life better. he closed his eyes and put the object close to him. "I still love you, Laney Penn," he thought.

His last thoughts were about Laney as he pulled the trigger.

The End
