Severus Snape

by Starsinger

Just a series of vignettes on how different characters react to different events. We're starting with Snape, after he dies. Don't own Harry Potter.

Snape had spent the better part of the past eighteen years protecting Harry. While he didn't agree with Black and Lupin on many points, he did agree with them that Harry had Lily's eyes. He looked at his lifeless body with some regret. He wouldn't see the end of this. He'd done everything he could between leaving his personal potions book behind for Harry to find, to trying to help Harry on his broom during the Quidditch match in Harry's first year.

He felt a presence behind him and turned to find Dumbledore behind him, "Have I done enough?"

"I hope so, Severus. We shall see when he dies," Albus replied.

Snape nodded and looked around, "Platform 9 ¾?"

"It's something that Harry is familiar with. Oh, it's time, I think you should disappear," Snape stepped back behind a pillar as Harry disappeared. Time apparently flowed differently here.

After Harry went back to the world of the living Snape looked at Dumbledore, "Do you think he'll think of me differently now?"

"Well, you never know, Severus, you never know."
