I was curious. I just wondered why people who are so kind and so good-looking turn out gay. I even thought they were straight because of the way they acted. Kotae as an exception though. It would be very understandable that he was gay. But Sumei and Wren?? What the hell?? Who would've thought that they had feelings for guys? It's really confusing...
So one day I went to Sumei.
"Ne, Sumei-san?" I said.
"What's the matter, Takeo?" he said.
"I just wanna ask you something…"
"What's that?"
"Why are you gay?"
And with that, he shut the door at my face. I blinked twice and was more curious than ever. Then I went to Wren. I gave out a deep breath and talked to him.
"Wren?" I said.
"What now, bakasaru?" Wren retorted.
"I just wanted to ask you something."
"Hm? But you rarely ask me anything. Why didn't you go to Sumei?"
"I already did. But he didn't want to tell me. So I came to ask you."
"Okay then, bring it on."
"Why are you gay?"
And with that, he kicked me out of his room. Once again, I got more curious. If Wren and Sumei won't tell me, then I'll ask Kotae.
"Kotae-chan? Are you busy?" I asked.
"Not really. What's wrong? Do you need help in something?"
"I just wanted to ask you something. Sumei and Wren won't tell me their answers."
"Then I'll help you. What do you want to know?"
"Please tell me okay?"
"Of course."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
"Okay…since you promised…Kotae? Why are you gay?"
Kotae stared at me for a while.
"Why are you…asking?"
"I'm just curious as to why someone so kind and good-looking can be gay!!" I practically yelled.
"Well…I'll just tell you this."
I listened attentively.
"The reason why I'm gay is because I felt that Sumei cared for me so much that he saved my life. He made me realize that being gay can also mean that you love that guy person so much that you'll die for him. That's why I turned gay, even though I didn't act that way."
"So…is that the same reason for Sumei and Wren to turn gay?" I asked.
"I don't know. But I think they live for that same reason." Kotae smiled.
"Oh…I think I understand. Thank you Kotae."
"Glad to help you."
I stepped out of his room. I stared blankly at the floor. So being gay can also mean that you'll die for that guy person you love? I smiled and ran to Yasuo believing that fact.
"Yasuo? Can I be gay with you?"
"What the fuck??"
