Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers, although I do own the blu-ray of DOTM which arrived this morning! This came about from thinking about when Cybertron implodes, and how gut-wrenching that must have been. Intentionally made characterless.


Midnight in Chicago found him stood amid the wreckage of buildings and cars, staring up at where Cybertron had imploded. The day had been arduous, many friends had been lost and a daunting task of clearing and repairing the damage ahead of them.

He knew they had done the right thing; the humans shouldn't have to suffer just to restore the home of a species doomed to extinction. But he couldn't help but feel a terrible ache in his spark at the loss of his birthplace.

And so for this moment he stood in silence, mourning what they had lost.
