Three and A Half Minutes
SideNote-This may get confusing. The first part is the strangled twin speaking, second part is the strangling twin speaking...etc. You'll get once you read it...I hope. If not, feel free to ask.Three and a half minutes...
He could feel his twin's hands tighten arund his neck.
What are you waiting for? he thinks. Just do it, already!
Three and a half minutes...
He didn't want to do this.
He loved his brother too much.
Three and a half minutes...
He was beginning to lose consciousness.
He smiled, knowing they would finally become one.
Three and a half minutes...
He felt his twin's breathing slow.
He sobbed, wondering why HE had to do this.
Three and a half minutes...
He took his last breath.
And smiled at his brother.
Three and a half minutes...
He watched as the priests cast his brother's body into the pit.
They all waited...
Three and a half minutes...
The ritual was a failure.
There was no butterfly.
Three and a half minutes...
He had failed his brother.
And now, he was -ohso- alone...
Those three and a half minutes...
They sure felt like a lifetime.
A/N - I have no idea what made me write this.I was listening to "Felt Like A Lifetime" and I thought that the phrase, "Three and a half minutes, felt like a lifetime" would tie in nicely with FF2. As for WHO the twins are. I wasn't honestly aiming for it to be Mutsuki/Itsuki.
I originally intended for it to be Mio/Mayu, then I considered an Akane/Azami, but Itsuki's my absolute favorite, so it ended up being him. I'm quite aware this isn't a great drabble. I think it's awful. But the phrase wouldn't leave me in peace until I wrote something for it, so here it is.
Dedication - to rebel08ths. Cause you rawks and you save my tail in physics so many times that I just had to write something for you. Much love and I promise, the next time, It'll be something better.
Disclaimer - No. Wish I owned it, so Itsuki could come back...but I don't. Damn.
