Sam's POV
The party was winding down as we turned up the TV. It was 5 minutes until midnight. I sat on the stairs in Carly's Apartment, all alone…
Everyone grabbed their significant other and waited around the TV. I saw Carly and Gibby dancing with each other, Wendy and Brad...basically everyone in the apartment had someone...except me.
"Hey, mind if I sit?" Freddie asked me
I moved over to make room for Freddie to sit, I guess we were both alone, the memory of our first kiss came to the surface; it was a little like this situation.
"What happened to your date?" I asked him
"What date?" he looked at me
"The girl you came with…" I trailed off "Bonnie or whatever her name is."
"That was Tasha's cousin, she needed a ride over…"
"Oh…" I simply said
"2 Minutes 'till Midnight!" Carly exclaimed
"New Years Kiss is so overrated...Don't you think?" I wanted to kiss him so badly.
"i don't know…" he sighed
"Anyone special you wanted to kiss tonight?" I asked him
"Yeah maybe...but she'd never want to kiss me." he mumbled
"Who is it?" I gasped
"Hey, do you want to go somewhere a little quieter?" he asked me. I got butterflies in my stomach.
"Yeah." I said. He led me upstairs to the ICarly studio and we opened the window watching the night sky before the fireworks started.
We heard the crowd downstairs chanting. Freddie stood so close to me I could feel his breath on my skin.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
I felt his soft lips on mine. I didn't know exactly what had happened, but I most definitely felt the fireworks, and not just the vibrations from the ones going off in the sky.
Once he pulled back we just stared each other in the eyes. "What...what was that?" I asked still catching my breath
"Sam...I miss you...I want to get back together." he leaned in against me.
"I miss you too...I love you Freddie...Happy New Year." I leaned my head against his shoulder as we rocked to the light music playing in the studio.
A/N: I know this is like ridiculously short; but I was feeling some Seddie fluff, I do hope you guys like this. I didn't want something super long, but not this short either. I tried a one shot. I am horrible at them. thoughts? Don't put too much hate out there please and thank you!
