This story is inspired by something in my real life. It happened, and then I thought… "Wow this would make such a cool story," and I was typing away! It's totally different from my other story, but I guess that's good because I need a break from all the angst-ness and such.
The title is taken from the film "She's the Man" – Love that movie.
Enjoy

Uchiha Sasuke was absolutely perfect.
He was an all rounded student, excelling academically as well as on the sports field. He was in every single issue of the school paper, yearbook, and his face was all over the school website. Teachers loved him, nerds hated him.
He belonged to a rich family; his father was the head of the Konoha Police force, somebody who was of high status and well respected; while his mother loved him to bits and coddled him with attention. He had maids which bowed before him and tended to his every need, as well as lots of friends.
He was unbelievably handsome, which meant he got any girl he wanted. His fan club was 'The Fan Club', with an army of fan girls who showered him with attention and automatically smashed anyone who dared go against or speak ill of him… not that he could not beat any of them up himself.
All that… well, Sasuke was a bit spoilt.
Uchiha Sasuke was perfect, minus his stinking attitude.

"Tenten chan!" 5 years old Uchiha Sasuke broke away from his mother as soon as he saw the girl with the two buns on her head; approaching his house with her parents.
"Sasuke!" She exclaimed, returning a dazzling smile that matched his. He grabbed her hand, tugging her away from her parents and towards his house.
"Come on, Tenten! I have something to show you!" Tenten glanced at her mother, who nodded at her gently, and the two children ran off, leaving the adults to do whatever adults did.
"Where are you taking me, Sasuke?" The young girl asked, slightly breathlessly as she tried to catch up. Sasuke was already taller than she was, and had longer strides compared to hers.
"You'll see." He smirked. Yes, he had already learned to smirk at a tender age. They ran down what seemed like long and looming halls to the two small children, finally stopping at the back door. Sasuke slid it open, leading Tenten into his garden. He took her over to the vegetable patch, and pointed at a row of young, green sprouts peeking out of the soil.
"Look, Tenten look at what I've grown!" He exclaimed. Tenten widened her eyes in fascination.
"Oh, wow, Sasuke!" She replied, clapping her hands. "What are they?" Sasuke suddenly looked serious, frowning slightly.
"It's cab-age" He said solemnly. "My gardener says so."
"Cab-age?" Tenten scratched her head. "Can we eat it?" Sasuke shook his head.
"Now now, Tenten. But when it grows bigger, my gardener says we can cook it!" Tenten beamed.
"Really?" The boy nodded.
"When we eat it, I'll make the chef cook some for you too."
"I can't wait!" She giggled.
That night, it began raining. Konoha was hit by an unexpected storm; with thunder and lightening lashing across the sky. Winds coming from all directions howled and shook the doors and windows.
"Why don't you stay for the night?" Uchiha Mikoto offered Tenten's family. They gladly accepted the suggestion, since there was no way they could have gone home in the weather anyway.
The next morning at breakfast, Sasuke was nowhere to be seen. Tenten politely ate the cereal she was given, but could not help but worry about her friend. When the adults began engaging into a conversation she did not really understand, she quickly slipped away to Sasuke's room.
"Sasuke?" She knocked. No one answered
"Sasuke? It's Tenten."
"Go away!" He answered. She knew him to well to take him seriously. Slowly, she slid the door open with her tiny fingers. The curtains had been shut, and the room was dark. Sasuke sat on his bed, evidently sulking.
"What's wrong?" She asked him, kneeling next to his bed. He turned away from her.
"Sasuke?"
"…"
"Fine, I'll leave then." She stood up and pretended to walk to the door.
"They… they're all gone!" Sasuke exclaimed. Tenten spun around to face him, putting her hands on her hips.
"What is?"
"The cab-age! I went to see them this morning, and they're not there anymore!" Tenten gasped, putting her hand to her mouth.
"B… but how…"
"The gardener says it's because of the storm last night."
That afternoon, Tenten found the Uchiha family's gardener at the vegetable patch, tending at whatever was left of the storm.
"Um, sir?" She said to the man bent over the soil. He straightened with a wheeze, and turned to the young girl.
"Tenten sama, isn't it? What brings you here?"
"Well, I was wondering if you have anymore cab-age seeds." The gardener laughed and ruffled her hair.
"Cabbage, eh? I'm afraid not little missy."
"Oh." Tenten's shoulders sagged in disappointment. She turned to leave.
"Wait." The gardener said, feeling somewhat guilty.
"I do have some tomato seeds. Is that alright?" Tenten's face glowed as she nodded vigorously.
"Yes, please!" She exclaimed. The gardener chuckled and went to the shack to bring her the seeds.
"Sasuke! Sasuke!" Tenten had returned to the boy's room, entering without even knocking.
"Look what I have!" She waved a hand at the Uchiha enthusiastically. He glanced at her through hooded eyes.
"Your gardener gave me some tomato seeds! We can plant them, see?" She opened her palm to show the boy the tiny grains. Sasuke huffed.
"I don't like tomatoes." He stated stubbornly.
"Oh, is that so?" She replied, lifting her eyebrows.
"Ok then, I guess I'll just have to plant them myself then."
Tenten spent the whole afternoon digging and carefully placing the seeds into the soil before her mother told her it was time to go.
The next time Tenten was invited to the Uchiha Mansion, she went straight for the garden. She smiled in delight, finding the seeds she had embedded had now turned into mature plants, with the beginnings of the fruit hanging with the leaves.
"Thank you so much for taking care of them for me!" She said to the gardener. He laughed.
"Oh, it wasn't me! Sasuke sama has been the one taking good care of the plants for you." Tenten turned and beamed at the Uchiha next to her.
"Really, Sasuke?" She asked, eyes sparkling.
"Hn." He blushed, looking away from her.
"Thank you so much, Sasuke!" And she gave him a hug, stretching her arms around him as much as she could.
"What… hey… Tenten…"

Sasuke's fan girls were extremely loyal to him. They were devoted, they were passionate, faithful, obedient, and dedicated their days and nights to him. They fainted at a mere glance given by him, and fantasized about being The "Mrs. Uchiha".
They wanted to know everything there was to know about him.
Although Sasuke was incredibly sexy, he had never had a proper girlfriend, much to his Fan Club's relief. How could he? Any girl he touched just by grazing them on the shoulder in the crowded halls promptly screamed and fainted. On busy school days, he would leave a trail of flopped girls in his wake. He could not imagine what would happen if he kissed any one of them. Plus, he did not notice anyone he liked in particular anyway.
That's why, when the Elite Team of Investigators of the Uchiha Sasuke Fan Club (also known as the IUSFC) managed to find a photograph of him when he was 13 years old, smiling brightly with an arm draped around a girl's shoulder, they went absolutely ballistic.
Firstly, they had never, ever seen Sasuke smile like that. He sometimes smirked, or at the most, smiled lightly, but never beamed.
Second of all, who was this mysterious girl?
"She's not even pretty!" One wailed as she saw the unholy photograph of her lover and the girl with the two buns.
"My boobs are bigger than hers, anytime." Another said snootily.
Nevertheless, the Fan Club was devastated. They had never heard of Sasuke being in a relationship before, and it bothered them sleepless to find something like this had just slipped right under their noses for such a long time.
Finally, the next day at school, the captain of the Fan Club, Ino Yamanaka, gathered the courage to ask their dark prince the question. She caught him early in the morning, sitting alone in the classroom, elbows resting on the desk. His fingers laced together beneath his nose. He was staring out the window. Oh, how dreamy.
"Ano… Sasuke kun?" Ino said, batting her eyelashes ferociously at him while the rest of the fan girls made a perimeter around them, clutching at each other, waiting nervously. Ino took the photograph out of her pocket.
"Who is this girl?"
I know this is starting off to look a little like SasuTen, but its not, I swear. You'll just have to read on to see where the plot takes a twist. Grins
