Said goodbye to his mamma
Connor set down the phone before picking it up again. He quickly dialed a number he knew all to well.
"Yes?" Mrs. McKnight answered.
Connor groaned, he forgot that it was one in the morning.
"Connor? What is it?" came the voice.
Closing his eyes he chose his words carefully, "Mom, I've got to leave. I can't tell you why. I just wanted to tell you. Ethan, Trent, and Kira are coming as well. I can take care of myself okay?"
"Connor, honey. What's wrong?" his mother asked.
The young man fought back tears, "My friends...they're in trouble. I need to go help them. Don't worry about me."
Silence took over the other end. Connor was about to say something when, "Alright, just...be careful okay?"
"I will mom. Love you." Connor replied.
"I love you too."
Connor hung up the phone before leaning his back against the wall, sliding to the ground. The red ranger let out a sob before totally breaking down.
Author's Note: I know, this is a short chapter, each verse has a short chapter to go along with it. Some verses may be skipped, I'm taking off the last bit of the song completly since it's just the chorous over and over again.
