I'm trying my hand at different fandoms, and Haven was next on my list. Lets see, Merlin, Forever, now Haven. Any suggestions of other ones I should try? Anyways, I own nothing, enjoy!

"Come on, Parker," Nathan said, holding out a hand to her. "No," she declined; sitting further back in the chair, hot chocolate mug in hands, light blond hair in a ponytail.

He gently took the mug from her hands, setting it on the table beside her. "No, no, Nathan—" she said, grinning and vigorously shaking her head. "Audrey," he drew out, taking one of her hands and entwining their fingers, and putting his other arm around her shoulders. "No!" she cried, laughing happily as he pulled her from the chair, leading her to the middle of the room, the temporary dance floor.

She rested her head on his chest, still laughing. Christmas music played in the background, decorations hung up around the empty (other than them) Grey Gull. Duke was sitting on one of the bar stools, his hand holding a drink that was on the bar, hair pulled back, snorting quietly at the couple. "Nathan, that's not dancing," he teased, "You're killing me," his voice cracked higher and he rubbed his free hand over his eyes, the smile on his face more of a grimace.

"Well I don't see you getting in the holiday spirit," Wuornos retorted, breaking off from his dance partner into 'moves' of his own. "Oh," Duke groaned, once again rubbing a hand against his eyes, pushing them in as if he could push out the images forever trapped in his mind.

He peered through one eye, afraid of what he'd see. Audrey had joined, and one could say she was only a million times better at it. Then Duke looked back at Nathan. His eyes widened and he pulled a hand down the full length of his face, then ran it through the top of his hair.

"Grinch," Nathan commented. "I'm not a Grinch, I can just find better ways of spending the holidays than… whatever it is your trying to do," Duke retorted, taking a drink without looking from them, like he were keeping his eyes on a bomb that could go off at any second.

"You're scaring me now, Nathan. Audrey, he's scaring me," Duke moaned, leaning forward to put his head in his hands. After a moment of muttering complaints he felt something running through his hair, causing his body to jerk in surprise. He looked up to see Nathan in front of him laughing, and his gaze switched over to an also laughing Audrey. "It suits you," she said lightly. "What?" Duke frowned, looking between them and feeling the top of his head, only to pull of a sort of reindeer antler hat thing.

"Nathan!" he growled, "You've got to be kidding me," he muttered under his breath, but eventually stuffed it back on his head, his hand reaching for his glass filled with fiery beverage.

He paused, "Hey Audrey, you know how to swing dance?" he asked. "Guess we'll find out," she replied. He sent a satisfied smirk to Nathan, "There, not Grinch," he said as he stood, lightly gripping her hands and falling into the up beat dancing. The small bells of the antlers jingled at the steps, and he sent another glance towards Nathan. Nathan who wore one of those hideous Christmas sweaters and jeans, the sweater's sleeves rolled up to his elbows, making it look even more bunchy than it truly was, and that was saying something. It was bright red with Frosty in the center.

"I'm getting the eggnog," Nathan said, disappearing. Christmas music filled the air, even could be heard mutedly from the outside. Christmas lights of all colors hung on the outside of the building, and the waves lapped softly against the shore, and dock.
