Chapter One: Fateful Encounter
It had been a busy day for Iris West. So many things jumbled into one. Her mind was ready to explode, she felt as though she needed to sleep yet her mind wont let her. She hated days like this. Sometimes she wish she could run away and be free for a day. But sadly that day isn't today.
She walked to her car after she left jitters the coffee shop. She looked up at the sky seeing as it was about to rain soon causing her to groan. 'Really?' She thought to herself as she hurried as fast as she could almost tripping over her own feet. She felt a pair of arms wrapped around her, at first she thought it was Barry but she looked down seeing red gloved hands. She backed up quickly turning to see the speedster everyone was talking about.
"You should really watch where you are going. It was too close of a call." Barry smirked slightly as he rushed off leaving a gust of wind behind him making Iris watch his movement.
Iris couldn't believe what she just saw, knowing she had to do a double take before heading to her car thinking about what had just happened.
