Dick blinked. A situation? His hand went up to his earpiece and he responded.
Today?
"What kind of situation?"
Truthfully, he was expecting (or rather wanted) to hear something about a fight between team members or a blackout or something.

"There's some sort of... barrier outside. We cant break through it."
Nightwing licked his lips and swallowed before responding.
"Everyone inside... Are they okay?"
There was a pause from the other end.
It had Dicks stomach twisting almost painfully and his heart hammering in his chest.
"It- it looks like their engaged in some sort of... big cage match with some alien. They look like their in trouble."
Mouth dry, Nightwing had to concentrate hard on making words come out of his mouth.

"I'll be there. Give me thirty minutes."
Dick sends one last glance at the two stones in front of him, worry eating at him. All of a sudden they felt like some sort of omen. He turns away, running towards the gate. Making his way towards his bike he prays.
Mom, Dad-ten years ago today, I lost you. I lost my family. Please don't let me lose my second one.

I thought I should put up something like this in honor of horrible timing. Seriously, it was bad timing. Of all the days a big alien could have come and tried to rip Superboys head off it had to be the ten year anniversary of Dicks parents.

You don't have to answer it but me and my friend were talking the other day and I admitted that I like to walk around in circles listening to music while I think of stories to write. Then she said she does the same thing.
This got me thinking. Is it normal for fanfic writers and readers to do this? Or is it just some creepy coincidence? So my questions to you are:
1- What do you do in your spare time?
2- Do you walk in circles listening to music for fun too?
3- How many other fanfiction dwellers do you know in person?
