The dawn of the fire dragonet

Peril was watching clay as usual watching him talk to his friends.

Peril just needed to know the answer to her question... Does clay love me? Peril loved him not as brother but as a individual that stood out from the rest, she wanted was the kind of love that wanted to bring them close and... Get married, that would be perils dream come true marrying a dragon that could touch her.

It was now or never, she walked over to clay and glory who were talking to each other.

"Um-clay can I ask you a question?" Peril said stuttering her words.

"Sure peril" clay said in a friendly smile.

"Um-er do-do you love me?" She blurted out.

"Of course I do, your like my sister and we love each other" clay replied to peril.

"That's not what I meant" peril said.

"Ha ha you love me as a brother not a sister" Clay bellowed.

Glory rolled her eyes knowing exactly what peril had to said to clay.

Peril walked away realising that clay Was not very intelligent and he thought that she had made a joke, but she hadn't.

"Well I have a plan, that clay wouldn't think I am joking about" peril thought to herself.

Chapter 2

It was tomorrow and clay was all by himself walking to the healers den, peril landed in front of clay making the ground turned black around her, her bright blue shimmering eyes were looking straight into Clays. Clay looked like he had been eaten alive with eyes wide open look frightened, clay realised that it was Peril and calmed down, he sounded like he was about to talk but peril suddenly said "I like you" with a I want you smile on her face.

Clay froze with shock and looked like he was thinking yikes and a lot of other things not food but peril.

"Um??? Ok?" Clay said still in shock.

Peril was still staring at clay, making clay do an uncomfortable shiver.

"Now" she whispered to clay "do you love me?"

Peril saw clay flinch.

"Well-um I " clay said stuttering and peril whispered "I what"

"I love you!" Clay said in a sort of pleading voice and ducking his head into his wing with embarrassment.

"Clay, come with me and I love you back" peril whispered in clays ear.

Chapter 2

Clay was fill with embarrassment but followed peril... The dragon that loved him to. Clay saw them fly past the healers hut, then some treehouses and then past some hammocks into the rainforest.

"Um? Peril where are we going?"clay said still feeling embarrassed.

"You'll see, my lovely clay" peril said giving clay another I want you smile.

Peril stopped and dove down into a clearing, a beautiful lake with a roaring waterfall.

"I haven't seen this place" clay said confused.

"Oh, I was saving it for me and you to have a romantic night" peril said smiling.

Those words echoed in his head "romantic?" "For me and peril?"

Clay turned and looked at peril who was looking back.

"So what do we do?" Clay said in a sort of nervous voice.

"Something romantic for me and you" peril replied brushing her wing with clays.

"Maybe kiss for the first time?" Clay said nervously.

"I guess so, clay" peril whispered pressing her snout against clays.

Chapter 3

Clay woke with peril snuggled into him.

"We need to go back to the rainwings village" clay said softly.

"Ok my sweetheart". She whispered slowly back.

Peril and clay both flew up and headed for the rainwings village.

They arrived back in the rainwing village and flew to queen glorys throne room, there were 3 people in there waiting to tell glory there complaint.

"Oh, there you 2 are" glory said looking pleased.

"Hello your majesty" peril said bowing to the queen.

"Um what's wrong with clay, he looks so dreamy.

"Oh, me clay just went on a date" peril replied softly.

"Oooooooo!" Glory said chuckling.

"Quit it!" Peril snapped in front of glory.

"Ok" glory said rolling her eyes.

Sunny and tsunami had overheard the whole conversation, and flew in.

"Awww, you'll be perfect for each other" sunny said in her cute voice.

"Thank you sunny, but some of us just do annoying things" peril replied giving glory the evils.

"So Clay, you finally admitted to peril" tsunami snapped.

"Well I, didn't really admit, she asked me if I love peril" clay replied sort of embarrassed.

"Well I said I like you, and you were like yikes this is creepy but I asked you if you love me and you said yes" peril replied softly to clay.

"You 2 are so sweet!" Sunny said in a squeaking voice.

"Well that is true" clay replied rubbing his head.

"So what did you do on the date?" Tsunami asked curiously.

"Oh we kissed for the first time clay, it was so romantic" peril replied looking at clay.

"Well yeah" clay replied embarrassed.

"Young love" sunny said in a lovely voice.

"I have to go now" clay said in a nervous way.

"You too embarrassed clay?" Glory asked chuckling.

Clay flew out the door with embarrassment, peril scowled at glory who was still chuckling, peril flew out after clay. Clay was on the pavilion with his head tucked into his wing.

"Clay, I'm sorry" peril said landing beside clay.

"It's fine, it's just that I didn't want them to know that stuff" clay replied sniffing.

Peril twined her tail with clays and wrapped her wings around him.

"Thank you peril" clay said in a more happier voice.

Chapter 4

It was night and the rainforest was silent.

"Clay, come with me" peril said to clay.

"Ok" clay replied yawning.

They started flying towards the lake.

"Um peril, you know how where from different tribes an all that" clay said nervously.

"Yes I know clay, that's the only problem with us being together" peril replied in a sad voice.

"We can still be together but the tribes might not allow it" clay replied.

They landed at the lake wrapping there wings around each other.

"When did you fall in love with me clay" peril said leaning in closer.

"When I first met you, you were a friend to me, then you saved our lives which then I got a crush on you and then you saved mine, which made me fell in love with you" clay replied sighing.

"Aww, your so cute clay" peril said sweetly "do you want to find out how I fell in love with you?"

"Um, ok" clay replied.

"When I saw you in that prison,

I thought why did they put a mudwing dragonet in prison so I headed over to you and we became friends then I got a crush on you just before fjord which I knew we wouldn't be able to be with each other but then you touched my scales... Then I realised you could touch me and I fell in love with you realising we could be together" peril replied.

They started into the still lake watching the ripples.

"Clay" peril said looking at clay.

"Yes peril" clay replied.

"This might sound crazy but do you want to be my boyfriend?" Peril replied asking.

Clays eyes widened.

"Oooooookkkkk" clay replied looking in shock.

"Thank you clay" peril said in her dreamy voice.

Chapter 6

Peril and clay had been dating for 6 months, peril and clay were in the throne room for a party, peril used the gem in her body to contain the fire and she was going to propose to clay.

"Clay" peril said looking at clay with wide eyes.

"Yes" clay replied.

"Will you marry me?" Peril asked looking at clay.

Everyone went silent.

"Yes" clay replied hugging peril.

"Awwww, sweet" sunny said sweetly.

"Well I guess we can have a wedding now" glory said smiling.

"Yaaaaaaaay" yelled the entire crowd.

Peril pressed her snout against clays.

"We now pronounce you husband and wife!" Glory yelled happily.

Chapter 7

After that peril and clay flew

Out of the throne room and to the lake to mate.

It took a month for peril to devilish the egg then 20 days for the egg to hatch, the fire dragonet...

Wings of fire is a 10 part series (soon 11) that involves the dragonets of destiny (tsunami, clay, glory, sunny and stareflight.) which are destined to end the war that has been raging for 18 years
