Harry stood a top of the astronomy tower, gazing at the ocean of stars above him. The gryffindor sighed, turning away from the glittering lights. "I only wish," He started, then paused. The raven-haired boy put his face in his hands. "I only wish things could be different," He finished, then raised his head to see a particularly shocked Draco Malfoy. Harry jolted back at the sight of the blond. "P-potter what in bloody hell are you doing up here?" Harry frowned. "I should be asking you the same question, Malfoy."

Malfoy sneered, and Harry had found himself wanting to kiss it away. The gryffindor sighed. He had come to terms with the fact he was attracted to Malfoy, but he certainly didn't want any sort of relationship with him. "Just thinking," Harry replied, surprisingly without venom in his voice.
He saw in Malfoy relax. Malfoy edged toward him and Harry tensed as Malfoy drew closer. Harry could smell expensive shampoo on Malfoy. Harry licked his chapped lips as he saw the sea of stars reflecting off his eyes. "Same here," Malfoy replied in a hushed tone. Harry had an overwhelming urge to pull him close and whisper sweet nothings in his ear.

Oh Merlin, Harry thought, I'm such a hopeless romantic. "Malfoy scooted even closer, and Harry could feel the background melting around them. "I only wish things could have been different, Malfoy," The gryffindor said with a deep, painful longing in his tone. Malfoy turned his silvery eyes on Harry. "It still can be," The slytherin rang 's heart raced as he saw Malfoy leaning in. Oh dear Merlin, Harry thought, I can't believe this is happening. Their lips met in a soft, warm kiss. Malfoy pulled back and gave him a soft smile."I guess you're a shooting star, because my wish came true." Malfoy said with warmth. Oh gods, cheesy pick up lines are my weakness. Malfoy slipped his hand in Harry's as they stood stargazing the past away.
