Soon spring had returned to Tarrytown. The flowers were in full bloom lambs were being expected and the sun shone in a blue cloudless sky.
Breezy the butterfly and Jay Jay the Jet Plane were on their way to Breezy's home in Smiling Meadows after the former's long hibernation.
"Are you glad to be going home Breezy?" Asked the little blue jet.
Breezy did a little loop de loop to say yes.
"I'm glad. I hope you didn't miss home too much- and you get to see your friend again!"
Breezy was excited.
When Breezy first moved to Smiling Meadows, he met a lovely red butterfly named Glow and the pair became good friends. He was looking forward to meeting up with him again.
...
Only when the two arrived, the red butterfly was nowhere to be seen!
Poor Breezy was confused.
"Don't worry Breezy I'll help you find your friend." Jay Jay vowed.
So the pair decided to split up.
Jay Jay took the north and west sides of the meadow, whilst Breezy took south and east.
The pair searched and searched.
They found all sorts of wildlife, such as bees, worms, caterpillars and birds, as well as some other butterflies.
But Breezy's red friend was nowhere to be seen.
Saddened by this, Breezy was about to head back when he had an idea. He will ask another butterfly if they saw his friend Glow!
Ahead of him he saw a beautiful lime green butterfly, so he went and asked her about Glow.
And what luck! She turned out to be a new friend of Glow's- and her name was Prairie.
So Prairie led Breezy over to where Glow was playing with two caterpillars- his new siblings!
Jay Jay had been worried about his friend in the meantime, and he flew over to see if everything was alright.
"Breezy are you alright?"
He was surprised to see Glow, as well as his siblings and Prairie.
But nevertheless, Jay Jay was very happy that Breezy had found his friend-and they both made new friends in the process!
