Calvin and the Calvinball Tournament
Calvin and his tiger, Hobbes, were playing Calvinball in Calvin's backyard.
"No fair, No fair! You didn't touch gate 13!" Calvin screamed, waving the Ooga Flag in the air. "I was in the opposite zone, so I didn't have to!" Hobbes declared. "Listen, you mangy furball, when I say you didn't touch Gate 13, you didn't touch Gate-" Calvin was cut off by his schoolmate, Ronald. "Hey, Slowpoke! They're holding a Calvinball tournament in the schoolyard. If you wanna come, bust your butt and get over here!" " You can't tell me @%^%!" Calvin declared. "My, Scrabble DOES teach kids new words!" Hobbes said. "Shut up." And so, off they went to play…organized Calvinball?
"Face front, dummy!" Ronald yelled at Calvin. "Dump the tiger and pay attention!" The Boogies, Calvin's team, were playing the Oogies, the other team. Moe was there, the big mean, school bully. "You know, I think that liberation should not be a forgone conclusion in Calvinball. In short, dedicating realms unsuitable for playing is scrutinizing!" "What we need is some post-constitutional laws that justify our statement and say that we shall rise to the consequences of an unsuitable world." Calvin said, grabbing two bowls. "We must rise to the challenge!" "Want to look for worms?" asked Hobbes nonchalantly. "SURE!" Calvin said, rushing back out. Hobbes sighed. "Well, as Calvin once said, It's a Magical World." Hobbes then opened the door and joined his pal Calvin on his wild adventures.
