Mine is controlled (absense epilepsy), but it still sucks. Read and review!

Its amazing how one simple word can change the way you've gone about life, your entire life.
Suddenly, there are all these restrictions placed on you, all these tests being done.
And there's nothing you can do about it.
You just have to sit back and let people prod and poke you with all sorts of medicine, sticking you into machines and drugging you up.
You wonder how long this has been building in your system.
Maybe it was one too many games of touch footy as a kid, one too many times being thrown backwards as your best friend charges towards you, full pelt. One too many blows to the head, as you attempt to retrieve the football. Too much mucking around as a little boy- maybe it was the fall out of the tree that cracked your arm that did it.
Maybe it was karma, for something you did in another life. That was unlikely, but still, the thought was there.
There were so many restrictions.
No driving was one that stuck out in your head- how were you supposed to get around?
Why did God decide to 'bless' you with it?
And on that note, why anyone?
It's amazing how one single word can change your life.
Epilepsy.
