The lost mutterings before heartbreak
did nothing to lock two fates apart
She found that Tim left her dizzy
Her heart never felt so beautiful or more dizzy with confusion

and so hearts' desires won out for now
She found herself thrilled over his presence
regardless of whether she was sober or not
Mette found that whether this would be burnt out
like the flames of what they smoked
or lost in a dizzying beauty forever,
she wanted it
Mette had Tim and that was enough for now
