AN: Okay so, I have to be honest, the updates for this are going to be really irregular and the chapters probably won't be very long. For those of you that have the patience to read this I appreciate you so much! I am also a big girl, so I can appreciate some MATURE constructive criticism.
Evergreen sighed as she walked through the hall, dodging people as they rushed to their next class.
Her parents had decided to transfer her from Saryaski high to a more prestigious school. She had asked them not to bother. Meio cost a lot more money to attend than Saryaski and she hadn't really minded all the fights.
She looked down at her pink uniform and grimaced. Weren't Japanese school uniforms supposed to be cute? It wasn't that she didn't like pink, but the shade was disgusting. She hadn't really liked the blue one either…
She continued down the hallway and approached the office doors to get her schedule. When she walked in, the secretary was really polite and helpful, but she hardly let Evergreen get a word in. She was relieved when she finally managed to get out of there.
As she walked up to the classroom doors, she sighed. Meeting new people was always stressful and she didn't interact well on her best days.
She knocked on the door and it slid open, revealing a middle-aged man with thinning hair. She avoided his eyes and handed him her schedule.
"Ah, Thomas-san, come in then and introduce yourself."
She nodded and walked past him into the classroom, bowing to the class. She looked at the back wall and introduced herself.
"I'm Thomas, Evergreen. Pleased to meet you." Before walking, eyes to the floor, to her desk.
She didn't take a look around the classroom until about halfway through the lesson, when she was sure no one was watching her anymore.
The boy in front of her was sneaking chips, hidden in his bag, every thirty seconds or so. There were a few girls in the class that would turn towards the left-hand side of the classroom (near the window) and then snap their attention back to the front, blushing. She looked and saw that they must have been looking at the boy behind the girl with the pretty red hair.
She shrugged. He wasn't THAT good looking.
AN: I realize that this is pretty jumbled, but I kind of did it on purpose. Evergreen's train of thought is constantly changing, so I tried to put that through into the story without making it too confusing. If it didn't come across that way, just let me know and I won't do it that way anymore.
Let me know what you thought!
