I have found that I love to describe things in overly-detailed ways, and when I scroll through fanart, I sometimes find myself describing them! So I'm going to create short, sweet little situations or scenes inspired by some Gale/Gajevy fanart. (probably 500-900 words each.) And this one is inspired by one of my favorite Gale images. (I can't figure out how to work links...)
It was a picturesque scene. The ocean, the soft sand, the wind blowing just enough to be peaceful, and the setting sun turned the sand and ocean orange, the sky; pink. Gajeel walked a little way behind Levy, and watched lovingly as her white skirt was blown around her knees, and the yellow ribbon around her waist waved behind her, synchronized with the ends of her white bandanna. Levy ran along softly, on her bare toes, her arms out, and she hummed quietly to herself. Her hair gently bounced with the rest of her being. Occasionally, the tide would come up and kiss the place Levy trod.
Gajeel couldn't help but compare Levy to a little angel—or fairy—she looked so pure, dressed in all white. He found it hard to believe someone so little and pure found their way into his life. Then Gajeel looked down at himself, in a white collared shirt, rolled up white pants, also barefoot. He realized this little fairy came and changed him, and how he lived his life. Gah! He hated to admit it.
He took several quick steps towards Levy, catching up to her, and hugged her from behind.
"Eep!" Levy let out a small squeak as she was picked up, and lifted onto Gajeel's shoulder. "G-Gajeel!" she exclaimed, wrapping an arm around his neck.
"Don't worry Shrimp," Gajeel grinned, right arm around her legs, and his left on her back. He continued to walk along the beach.
"Wow… the ocean looks so pretty from here!" Levy said after a moment, gazing to their right.
Gajeel followed her gaze, "Yeah, I guess you can't really see it well when you're so short," he joked.
"I can see it just fine!" Levy declared, "Put me down and I'll prove it to you!"
"Geehee. You're not going to see it from this height again," he said, putting her back on the sand.
Levy looked over to her right, standing on her tiptoes to get the best view of the quickly setting sun on the ocean as possible. She soon came off her toes and stood at her normal, short, height, she took a step closer to Gajeel and took his hand in her own.
"Should we be getting back?" Levy asked after a moment, noticing how quickly darkness had fallen upon them.
Gajeel looked over his shoulder, a small orange dot showed him where Natsu's flames were, then he looked at the sky. Above them was a dark blanket, with white speckles, and a thin stripe of dying light on the horizon. "We'll stay here a while longer," he decided, and Levy smiled.
