Through his sights, he saw a group of conscripts standing at the end of the snow covered bridge, flanked by
a couple of tesla tanks. As the sniper continued to watch, two Yuris walked up. "Finally," he breathed. He put his
scope's crosshairs on the first Yuri and pulled the trigger. The Soviet psychic dropped to the ground, decapitated by
his 30-06 sniper bullet. The sniper swiveled the rifle so that is was pointed at the other Yuri. Once again, he pulled
the trigger, dropping the other Yuri. Having killed the Yuri's , the sniper looked over at the prison compound to

Hawk helicopter camouflaged in the woods. The tanks and soldiers, alerted to the snipers presence, marched and
drove over to the sniper's perch. As the conscripts advanced on the woods, the helicopter spooled up. The Night
Hawk took off, headed for the Allied base in the small city to the north. A construction yard had just been set up, and
some basic base defenses were erected. The sniper slumped back in relief. "Another tough mission, Chris?" asked
the pilot. The sniper smiled. " Not tough, just nerve-racking, running around the woods with the commies chasing
me." The pilot nodded distractedly. The doorgunner suddenly jumped and said "Flack track at 11 o'clock!" The
sniper peered out his window and, sure enough, there was a flack track and four flack troopers running along behind
them. The gunner cocked the machine gun and started strafing the flack troopers. He got one, but the rest started to
open fire. The gunner took a shot to the chest and fell out of the helicopter. The flack pinged against the fuselage,
shattering the sniper's porthole. A fuel line ruptured, spewing the flammable liquid everywhere. "Get ready to bail!"
yelled the pilot. He started to bring it down, but the craft lost power a second later, causing the craft to crash. The
pilot was crushed, but Chris was thrown out into a snowdrift. He laid still as the flack troopers warily approached the
crumpled helicopter. Without warning, the wreck exploded, killing the troopers and throwing burning debris
everywhere. The shockwave knocked the breath out of Chris, and blew snow off tree limbs. Seeing that the cost was
clear, he ran as has as he could up to a chrono miner in a nearby ore field. The sniper ran up beside it, flagging the
driver down. "What's up?" the driver yelled. "My helicopter was shot down, and I've got some troops following
me," he said, out of breath. "OK, hop in," he said motioning towards the right-hand door. As soon as he got in, they
cronoed back to the base. As soon as they got to the base, an air raid siren started to wail, and GI's ran up to the
walls. A battle was about to begin.
