This is Goodbye

Elena's POV

I'm done with everything. The lies, the pain, the confusion….everything. I am leaving town tonight after I am done packing. I had ofically said goodbye to everybody I cared about….. that is everyone but Damon and Stefan, I couldn't bare of the drama that would come from that. Of course Bonnie and Caroline were begging me not to go, trying to convince me that everything would be okay…that everything would eventually go back to normal, but we all knew that there was no such thing as normal anymore. Bonnie and Caroline were still devistated that I had to go, but it would put them in less danger, they had to understand.

Jeremy was a bit more considerate of the situation, he understood that I didn't want to cause anymore danger for anyone in Mystic Falls. I had asked him to promise me that he wouldn't tell Damon or Stefan about this….not till I was gone. Jeremy quickly agreed as long as I promised him that we would see each other again. I had pulled him into a tight hug and hesitantlly answered with an "okay".
