i love these two sooo much. Anywho, let's get to the point. THIS IS GAME RED AND IF YOU TELL ME ASH IS RED I WILL MURDER YOU INTO A BILLION AND FIVE PIECES.
that is all.
Pokemon is not mine.
He doesn't talk much.
Not even to her.
He lets everyone around him wonder.
Usually he'll just stare at her with those enticing red eyes of his and she growls, leaving him to wallow in confusion.
The boy's not dense, but he's never really been good with people, let alone girls. It's a challenge just to look at her.
She vents out everything to him, because he's the best listener she knows, but he never responds. Never gives advice.
The last time she heard his voice was last week.
"Misty." was all he had said.
That's all he needed to say, because the tears in his eyes were real and genuine and enough to tell her everything.
So she had let him collapse in her arms to cry. She rubbed his back slowly, in a comforting manner.
What had gotten him so shaken up?
She remembers thinking that he only speaks when it's a desperate need - and only around her.
His voice had been rough and choppy from the little usage it gets and yet, it sounded so beautiful. Beautiful enough to make her swoon.
So now they sit on a beach, a smile plastered on his face as he holds her hand.
Of course his smile is as rare as the usage of his voice. A shame, really. He has a beautiful smile.
Nothing about Red is easy. He's been holding her hand and kissing her like it's normal, and yet he barely utters a sound.
When should she have taken the hint?
He never says what's wrong and although she can usually read him like a book just by his eyes, there are times she's unsure of what's wrong. Times she's unsure of what he's thinking. Much like now.
Then, as though he's convinced it's the most normal thing in the entire world, he says something that makes her insides melt, yet makes her so paranoid.
"I love you."
(They ask him when he's marrying her and all he does is smile at her, leaving her to go even more paranoid and weak at the knees.)
