NaruHina Story. – For charlotte,
It had been three years since he had returned to Konoha.
As the sun rose that morning, he awoke. Sprawled out on his back, his once spiky blonde hair, splayed out like halo across his pillow. Raising one tanned muscled arm, he draped it over his eyes, trying his best to keep the morning sun out of his eyes. He failed...
The golden rays crept through the crease in his elbow. Groaning in his defeat, he heard a muffled chuckle come from somewhere on his chest. Raising his arm a little to take a peek, he smiled.
Smiling blue eyes met smiling lavender ones.
"Good morning" she said with a smile. Her voice light with amusement.
"Good morning," he replied, running the fingers of his other hand through her indigo hair.
Shuffling, she moved so she had her hands underneath her chin. The sun glinted off her left hand, casting rainbow coloured reflections on the wall opposite. Grinning like a fox, he thanked the sun and moon for bringing her back into his life again.
Smiling, she crawled up the bed and placed a tender kiss on his temple. Pulling back, she tilted her head to the side.
"What you smiling at?" she asked with a grin.
Putting his hands behind his head, He answered " I was just thinking about you Hinata."
His word bringing her trademark blush into view, he loved how it complimented her snow white skin.
"And how I am glad that I was so lucky to have you walk back into my life and welcome me with open arms, albeit after you fainted."
Nuzzling into the crook of his neck, she sighed.
"I never walked out of your life."
"I know that now, but now we can walk through life together."
As the words left his mouth, he tilted Hinatas' head towards his own and closed the gap between them. As if sealing his last statement with a kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her flush against his body; as she slid her arms around his neck leaving nothing between them;
Breaking apart after a few short moments, Hinata left the bed and headed to the bathroom.
Sighing, Naruto rested his head upon his hands which had once again gone behind his head, he thought, "only four more days until the wedding and I'll wake up this happy until the day I die."
He got up and went over to the window and he drew back the curtains and look out, he closed his eyes and smiled; "Arigato, kami-sama for giving me one of your angels."
