Hey, everybody! Just to let you know, this will be a companion fic/prequel to a second oneshot. They can both be read separately, or together. But if you read both, this one goes first.

Sea green eyes looked up, then flinched as a second cold drop hit him squarely on the nose. The musician loved the rain, but not the cold sometimes associated with it. Suddenly, he felt a sharp tug at his nonexistent heart, remembering a dusty memory long forgotten with the passing of years.
"Myde! Myde, come here! Play in the rain with me!" The little girl laughed and shrieked as the rain fell, the light mist slowly increasing to a glassy downpour of water.
"Hold on Anne! I'll be right there!"
Myde grabbed for his boots, but then thought better of it, and ran outside barefoot, slipping and sliding on the wet grass. He turned to look for his little sister, but then jumped in surprise when he felt two arms encircle his waist.
"Gotcha!"
Myde laughed and pushed away, running over to the other side of the lawn.
"Betcha can't catch me!" He turned to run away further, but then he slipped on a patch of mud, tumbling into the road.
His sister looked up, smiling, but her smile quickly faded as she saw her brother struggling to sit up in the street.
Anne reached out for her brother.
"Myde, look out!"
She screamed and screamed for her brother, as black heartless came out from the shadows, swarming her and her brothers' bodies.
Demyx shuddered. That memory was so painful for him. It reminded him of what he had lost. Poor Anne. She couldn't have possibly had the strength to fight the heartless, and she was much too young to have become a nobody.
Sometimes he really hated the rain.
A/N: So, how'd you like it? I know it's really short. T.T First, if anyone was confused, Myde got hit by a truck, and then heartless came and took out his and his little sisters' hearts. (but on the bright-ish side, Myde wouldn't have become Demyx if they didn't.)
