So, yeah. This isn't a Percy Jackson fanfiction! I tricked you! Please, please read this, though. Its very important to me, and I want to share this with you. It is my study on beautiful and beauty. You are beautiful
Is beauty skin deep? Yes. I'm sure you are familiar with the term, "Beauty is more than skin deep?" That's not true. The packaging is important. This is a world where pretty is better somehow. If you get too caught up on what you look like on the outside, you can lose yourself on the inside. Even though it is easy to be fooled by the beauty of the Trojan Horse, it is the army on the inside that matters. That army is where all the power comes from. That is the real you. No matter what you look like. Even though beauty may be skin deep, it is no where near as important as the person inside. Look at yourself. What do you see? We dress ourselves according to what we want to be. When you look at you, do you see who you are? Or who you wish you were? Because they are both perfect to me. All I see when I look at you, even if I can't really see you, is a real person. That army inside. You are very deeply beautiful.
So, I want you to tell me, why is pretty better? Think of it like this; There is this wonderful, natural golden apple, and its placed next to a red, misshapen apple. Which one do you pick? Probably the gold one. Don't lie. But then, the apples are both sliced open. The gold apple is rotten and brown on the inside. The red apple is perfect inside. It looks so delicious. So why is pretty better? We are all beautiful creatures. Pretty is not better, and neither is ugly. All those people, those 'pretty' people who make others feel bad, they are not mean because they are pretty. They just lost themselves on the inside. We have to train ourselves to see beyond the exterior, to look inside the soul.
Look at yourself. Tell me, are you beautiful? Beauty is not the same thing as beautiful. When you are beautiful, you are important. When you are just have beauty, you are pretty. And pretty is not better somehow. You are all beautiful. Each and everyone of you is beautiful, and I hope you can see it. Beauty is skin deep, but being beautiful on the inside? That's an art you have already mastered.
