Marshmallow Mayhem

Authors Note:

This is why I wasn't updating my other one! Enjoy this one shot!

Kirby wandered around the empty halls of Smash Mansion. It was 2:00am and Kirby was hungry. So hungry in fact, that he got out of his comfortable bed in search of food. He wasn't alone though, his friend Jigglypuff was helping him with his quest.

After hours of searching they finally came upon the kitchen. "I smell food," squealed Kirby in delight. It was then that he had an idea, "why don't we bake a cake," he asked.

Jigglypuff nodded eagerly. Kirby wasn't the only one who was hungry.

And so they set to work. They didn't have a recipe book so they both chose five items from the kitchen to blend together.

Kirby chose: Ice-cream, tomato soup, onions, potatoes and cookies. While Jigglypuff chose: carrots, muffins, pasta, chicken and candy floss. They also added flour, sugar, butter and milk because that's what Peach always did.

They put all of the items in a blender and proceeded to mix them together. First the flour, then the milk and the butter, then the sugar and finally everything else.

When they had finished mixing (and breaking the blender) Jigglypuff noticed that the batter was a bit green in color, so they added a bit of food colouring to fix it. The batter (if you could call it that) was also a bit too thick so Kirby decided to add some orange juice, to water it down a bit.

Now neither of the two pink puffs knew how to use an oven (not that they needed to though, because they would eat just about anything), so they managed to stuff their strange looking cake into the microwave.

While it was cooking, (or microwaving) they began to make the icing. They had used up all the food colouring trying to turn the cake back to a normal color. So they used some substitutes instead. For yellow they used lemons, for green: broccoli, for red: chillies and for blue: blueberries.

Finally the cake was ready and out of the microwave. Kirby and Jigglypuff proceeded to carefully ice it and add smarties and jelly-beans on top.

In the end the cake looked alright but by the time they were finished, neither Kirby or Jigglypuff were the slightest bit hungry (after eating most of the leftovers along with other unrelated ingredients) so they decided to give the cake as a present to the rest of the Smashers.

The next morning the hungry Smashers saw a large, nice looking cake in the middle of the table... Kirby and Jigglypuff could only laugh as they watched their friends reactions to tasting it...
