The world was a cruel place. So much was wrong with the world. You know what caused it? Humans. The way that they destroy the world with poverty, war, famine.
Betrayal.
That is what a boy had went through. His friends, the people with whom he loved just as much as his dead father, left him. Calling him a monster. Beating him, putting him in a cage until his sanity was breaking.
No human contact, unless for torture.
He became broken.
Heartless.
Cold.
Dead.
He gave up on Humanity. Because it had also given up on him.
He had lived a rich, fulfilling life, up until it all came crashing down.
The death of his parents, the death of his home.
The death of himself.
He lost his spirit through torture; stabbings, burnings, cuttings. Everything hurt him. Who caused it?
Humans.
Humans broke the young boy he once was. Humans caused him to he heartless.
Humans caused him to make a contract.
He would take revenge on the person who took his happiness. He would take out every human who wronged him. His Humanity left him. He would seek vengeance.
Even if it meant his soul would be taken in the process.
So that's the prologue! I hope it sounds captivating enough for you to continue. Can you guess who the two boys are? Probably, since I made it kinda obvious. Oh well.
