Sam knew it was a rare moment; he had just snuck up on his older brother. They were at home and Dean was in his room. Sam had just gotten back from a food run and thought he had heard something coming from Dean's room. But what he found was startling, more surprising than he would have ever imagined.

"She said here's your one chance Fancy don't let me down" Dean sang along with Reba McEntire on the radio as he folded laundry.

Sam leaned against the doorway and watched, his arms folded over his chest and a smile on his face. And without missing a beat, the song ended and another one picked up, and Sam was awarded an encore show as Dean belted out right along with Shania Twain to Any Man of Mine.

Dean had just gotten to the chorus when he turned and found Sam watching him and he dropped the stack of freshly folded shirts. He sighed and looked at the pile on the floor, and without a word to his giant little brother, Dean leaned down to pick them all up.

Dean never said a word about the incident, but from then on he made sure to keep a sharper ear out for returning hunters, and kept the country music sing-a-longs to a low volume.
