A/N I wrote this one-shot as a side-story, but it is connected to my friend August08's story " Born from a nightmare". In one scene in her story Sephiroth appears as the Vice principal at the local High school. This is how he became a teacher and eventually vice-principal of the school.

Sephiroth was bored ; was bored of always being home , playing mother and housewife. It wasn't that he didn't love Cloud, or their daughter Lorrainia . He just wanted something to do to pass the time . He wanted to give back to society. He wanted to make up for the wrongs he had done while under Jenova's influence.
It had been years since the wars. He and his brothers had returned from the life stream. They all settled into a normal society . In fact people were starting to forget about the bad things and accept each of them . They had all gotten married , settled down and were raising families.
Cloud walked into the living room after work to see his husband sat on the sofa , looking bored and upset .
"Sephiroth , are you ok? What's wrong?" He asked rushing to his side.
" I am bored. I love you and Lorrainia very much , but you are working all the time and she is in school all day . There is only so much housework to do in the run of a day.'' Sephiroth said looking like he wanted to scream. " I need a change"
Cloud thought for a moment ." Why don't you take a coarse at the university, become a teacher? They need teachers with the new schools being built in Midgar . They will all be completed within the next 5 years. They are going to need teachers to fill the classrooms when they are done"
Sephiroth's eyes lit up . "That's perfect! I wanted a way to give back to society . Becoming a teacher! Oh goddess , it's perfect Cloud ." Sephiroth threw his arms around his husband and kissed him on the lips. " Fantastic ! I'll go down there first thing in the morning."
The next morning after dropping Lorrainia off at school Sephiroth went to the enrollment department of the Univerity and enrolled himself for the first semester.
As the months went on he found himself at the top of every class he took . He didn't take a break , not even when other students took the summer off ; he would sign up for the next semester and get a jump on it .
He graduated 2 years before the class he started with, and was given a job at the local highschool. He watched his nephews and nieces all come through his school, and his hard work over the years had paid off . He was named Vice -principal of the school.
He was so proud of himself . He had worked so hard to accomplish something good. He wanted to contribute to society and being a teacher , he had. He was able to give back to the society that he took so much from under Jenova's influence.
He went home and told Cloud about the promotion with a smile on his face.
" I knew you could do it " Cloud said giving his husband a loving kiss on the lips .
Sephiroth drew Cloud into a tight embrace and returned the kiss.
" Thank-you Cloud for believing in me "
