'Ello, peeps. El Spaded Blade is 'ere tonight with some special announcements:
1: I'm sick, so that means I'm far from as active as I used to be. Sorry, readers of MineQuest.
2: I've searched up 'Lego Battles' in the fanfiction search engine, and nothing actually from lego battles came up. So, I'm gonna start it off myself.
3: My other Okami and Warriors fics are on hiatus 'till I'm done with my major stories, so don't expect much updating there. Sorry.
Well, I'll put up a disclaimer now:
I do not own Lego, Lego Battles or any themes from any other game/show. Lego Battles is designed by WB and licensed by Nintendo. I own nothing except my OCs.
Well, on with the story, I suppose.
In a land known as Metru, there was a cloaked man, running through the night. In his hand was a small piece of gold, covered in jewels and ornate writing. Behind him was a battalion of calvary and pikemen, shouting and charging towards him.
"Get back here, thief!" One shouted.
"You won't get away with this!" Another yelled.
The man smiled under his hood, jumping up on a barrel and then to a rooftop. The pikemen were dumbfounded as to how they could reach him while armed, whereas the horsemen were barely able to move in their heavy armor unless on their mounts.
"And yet I did..." The man said under his breath, leaping from rooftop to rooftop towards the city walls.
-Time Skip 3 Hours-
The cloaked man walked towards a lone building. It wasn't too large, one story, about 60 square feet, made of brick and wood, a sturdy structure. He walked toward the wooden doorway, and entered as there was no actual door there. Inside were various assortments of trinkets and pieces of old weaponry, some on tables, some on walls, some on the countertop, behind which another man, tinkering with some tools and machinery, stood.
"Ahem." The cloaked man interrupted from the doorway.
The man behind the counter turned his head in alarm, revealing his goggles and looking to the other man. He sighed in relief as he realized who it was.
"Ah, splendid. You're here. I assume you have the artifact?" He asked.
"Of course, Kiror." The other man showed the item he "obtained" previously. "Do you have the coin?"
"Yes, yes, of course. Here." Kiror showed a bag and opened it, revealing the wealth of gold and jewels inside.
The cloaked man handed over the jeweled gold as the man opposite of him gave the bag.
"By the way, sonny," Kiror said. "What's your name?"
"...Why do you ask?" He said in response, nearing the door.
"I'd like to remember you in case I have another task requiring some... assistance." Korir responded.
"...David." The man said, taking off his hood and revealing his dark orange hair, blue eyes, slight stubble and scar across his eye, covered by an eyepatch. "David Brickbeard."
Yeah, not much described in this chapter, but it's just starting out, so yeah.
Uh, review too, 'cause I would like some feedback on the story. Sorry I'm not my usual self, guys, but this stupid cold is killing me.
Have a nice day, peeps. I need to get some tissues.
Pace fuori, suckers!
