I'm a vampire, now...
It was a night without stars, white curtains covered the moon,
I had no more hopes.
I felt a strange sensation on the skin,
something I've never felt before,
something of terrible, as cold as frost.
I looked hard with dread and dismay
at my injured and bleeding fingers,
and I was already imagining long scarlet rivulets
draining along my chin.
I looked with fear and torment
at him, my initiator,
and at his quirky wisp,
such an ambassador flag,
I watched his flitting cloak,
threadbare, dusty,
but terribly charming,
and extremely respectable
My life can never again be the same,
I'll look at everything in a different way,
I'm a vampire, now.
