This is my first fanfic ever and I'm so excited! I have spent years reading stories and I finally decided to step up to the plate and write my own. That being said I will be looking for a beta reader to help me, plus I will ALWAYS be open to any type of story ideas! I really hope you all enjoy!

Life is filled with a lot of 'what ifs' and I have always wondered; what if I hadn't been bitten by that monkey? What if my parents were still alive? What if I wasn't green?
"Gar, what are you doing?" I heard her whisper as she entered the room. I saw her step into the frame of the mirror beside me and her violet eyes met mine.
"What are you doing with your holographic ring?" she questioned, I noticed her turn towards me. When I was little I used to have tan skin and sandy blonde hair, with my ring on I was exactly that.
"Just trying to feel what it's like to be normal," I sighed. Her hands made her way across my waist as she pulled me into a hug.
"I love you for you," I heard her speak as she reached down and removed my ring off my hand. "Gar, no matter what you will never be normal, Someone somewhere will always think you aren't normal. I didn't fall in love with you for your looks, but I couldn't ever imagine you any differently."
Her lips pressed against mine for a passionate kiss.
"But you know, you are pretty nice looking," she laughed, "Plus I really do dig the ears."
Right now I realized that if I hadn't changed, I wouldn't have met my friends and I wouldn't have ever fallen in love with Raven. Now I realized that maybe, just maybe, being green wasn't so bad after all.
