...
"Such a lovely face…"
Something in those words—in that voice—propelled Asuka from the ground, fist at the ready.
A hand on her wrist, and for a dizzying moment the world existed only as a blur. When it was solid again, Asuka was trapped, one arm pinned at her back and one hanging useless at her side, chest heaving against Anna's.
"My, my," Anna purred, "not just a lovely face, are you?"
Soft curves and the hard muscle hiding beneath them pressed along the length of Asuka's body, warm and somehow inviting. Asuka's focus narrowed to Anna's lips, and she leaned in without consciously wanting to. Breath fell across her lips, enticing her further; it was only in the second before Asuka lost sight of them that those lips pulled back into a smirk.
The world spun again, blue and green and white—then red, because when it stopped Asuka's chest was pressed to the ground by her own dead weight, and pain followed humiliation through every one of her battered limbs.
There was no one to see her knees shake by the time she dragged herself to her feet, but that condescending laughter still echoed in her ears.
