This was rushed but this was floating around my head for quite some time.
Over the years they've lived together under one roof, Chisaki has come to learn more and more about Tsumugu. One thing she noted most was that the more he became attached to someone, the more stoic and aloof he acts around them. She realized this after he confessed. She became confused about her own feelings at that point, but she later accepted them after Manaka got her ability to love back. Chisaki felt that she wanted to become more selfish and her fear of change melt away along with the saltflake snow.
People have told her that he showed more emotion toward the now younger girl, but she didn't mind it, because behind that cold exterior is someone warm and caring. She would catch him smiling at several occasions especially when she caught him staring at her, a blush tinting his cheeks.
There was a warmth reserved only for her.
"I'm home."
Chisaki hurries to the door to greet him as he arrives. She offers him a smile and fits into his arms perfectly.
"Welcome home."
