Chapter One: The Scent of Death.
The creature stealthily moved around the home, picking up objects as he went, he was choosing anything that would help him on the journey to The Festival of the Moon.
"Haha, I'm going upstairs!" a voice sounded, judging by its distance the voice was coming from the sitting room.
The creature listened as the sounds of heavy footsteps were sounded above, upstairs, the creature had been studying this family for a long time and knew that the voice belonged to the teenage Wolfblood, the one with the brown hair.
The creature waited until he heard the sound of loud pop music drift down the stairs.
"Perfect!" the creature muttered, the creature knew that the music would drown out any sounds from downstairs.
The creature crept down the hallway, at one stage he passed through a beam of light, revealing the grotesque features of his face, his bottom row of teeth were pointed, sharp and long while his top were like that of a baby, he had a wide jaw which stretched up far into his cheeks. His long, slimy black hair stretched down his back while his eyes glowed yellow, even in the dark.
He stood still and pressed his ear against the sitting room door, he could hear the laughter of the parent Wolfbloods as they attentively watched the television.
"This will be quick!" growled the creature as he stormed into the room knife in hand, as he ran towards the mother he heard he whisper her last word, "Vorjak!"
Two Hours Later:
"Don't worry, I'm just getting a drink!" sighed the girl as she walked through the sitting room, she stopped when she touched the doorknob and sniffed the air.
After fumbling around for a few seconds, trying to find the light switch she turned it on. What she saw that night will never leave her mind for as long as she lived.
Her screams echoed around the whole of Stoneybridge as she looked at the mauled bodies of her parents.
