It was never the magic.
Willow nuzzled comfortably into Tara, smiling to herself as Tara tugged her just a little bit closer.
It was never the power.
Faith growled and pulled the blonde closer to her, keeping Buffy curled tightly in her arms.
It was never the lust.
Dawn gasped and arched bellow the quivering body above her, scraping her nails across Tessa's back.
It was never the warmth.
Cordelia held her moan in her throat, Kate tugged her a bit roughly back into her body.
It was the desire.
Tara gave a deep moan, Willow gently trailed her fingers across Tara's body without really thinking about it.
It was the equality.
Buffy giggled when Faith squeezed her tightly, Faith gave another growl and slayer-strengthened the squeeze around her hips.
It was the sweetness.
Tessa gently pulled Dawn close, Dawn sighed when the aftermath of bliss washed over them.
It was the Trueness.
Kate sighed and sifted her fingers down Cordelia's side, Cordelia moaned quietly and kissed Kate's fingers.
It was the honesty of what was.
Of what could not be denied.
It was the emotion of humanity.
Of what could not be named.
It was the only honest love they'd ever receive on an ever-dying world.
Tara smiled down at her snoozing Willow, slipping away to start the morning for the household.
Faith slid away from Buffy's cuddling body to start her morning work out, smiling when she smelt Tara beginning pancakes downstairs.
Tessa kissed Dawn's forehead and shifted her fingers through the brown hairs, Dawn giggled just a little before her lips where taken by the ever-playful Tessa.
Cordelia teased her way out from under Kate's well-formed body to the bathroom down the hall, Kate followed her not minding that the day was still just beginning.
