~Frozen In Time~
The smell of smoke had filled the air. Most of the buildings in the Capitol were destroyed by the Rebels. About eighty-seven people lay dead or dying. Blood pooling around their bodies. The Peacekeepers were busy shooting the group of children who were backed up against a wall. There was no escape.
A young blond nurse rushed over to the young child who had a deep gash on her chest. Primrose quickly pulled out a small bottle of alcohol to clean the wound. The nurse didn't have much time left as the Rebels were about to drop the bombs.
Prim then pulled out a piece of cloth and taped it to the girl's bleeding chest.
That will do for now, the Rebels will release the bombs any second, Prim thought.
She tried picking up the child, but she was too heavy for her.
Before she could even touch the child. She felt a burning pain in her back. It continued to spread across her whole entire body. Primrose screamed in pain as she burst into flame. The swirls of orange and yellow burning away her flesh. Prim could even see a hint of bone beneath her skin.
I'm too late...
She could smell singed hair. And that smell was coming from her.
Good luck, Katniss. I love you. Don't forget me...
Suddenly the burning sensation stopped. The pain faded away. Prim was able to move around again.
"What the?"
Everything was frozen right in front of her. The people... They didn't move. The sounds of gunfire stopped. The screams of people stopped. The flames stopped dancing. Everything was deathly quiet.
Prim noticed the bleeding girl at the bottom of her feet. Her mouth was wide open as if she was about to scream. Prim lightly kicked the girl's side. Her body didn't move and she didn't produce a noise.
Everything was Frozen in Time...
