Ciel Phantomhive sighed, resting his head on his desk. Being the head of the Phantomhive family was not easy. Especially when you're 13 years old.
The door to the study opened, and Sebastian Michaelis, his demonic butler, walked in, holding a tray of tea.
"It is time for your afternoon tea, young master," Sebastian stated.
Ciel smiled slightly and lifted his head up. He observed Sebastian. He traced every vivid detail of him. His black and smooth hair. His dark, red eyes. His straight and slim body… Sebastian was abnormally tall, and Ciel had the difficult—yet pleasurable—experience of having to dance with his butler.
It may seem like a childish crush that Ciel has on his butler, but it's not. It's much more than that. Ciel has fallen in love with Sebastian Michaelis.
And he just can't help but love him.
Sebastian handed Ciel his tea. "There you are, young master," he said, smiling.
Ciel took the tea and set it down.
Sebastian glanced at Ciel. "Is there something bothering you, sir?" he asked the boy.
Ciel looked up. "No."
Sebastian smiled. "Sir, I have been your butler for quite some time. I think I would know if something were bothering you or not."
The child sighed and waved dismissively. "Leave me be." He knew Sebastian would have to obey his orders.
Sebastian sighed. "Yes, my lord."
As Sebastian walked away, Ciel had a sudden urge to tell his butler his… secret. Ciel was suddenly given a great burst of confidence.
"Sebastian, I love you!" he blurted. Ciel gasped and immediately covered his mouth, turning different shades of pink.
Why did I just blurt that out? DAMN! Ciel cursed in his mind.
Sebastian paused at the door, and turned his head slightly. "The feeling is mutual, young master. Now, if you will excuse me, I must prepare dinner for this evening."
