Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon or the characters. Just borrowed them.
AN: I came up with this when it was 4 a.m. and I couldn't sleep. I just started to write and I still don't know what to think of it oO Maybe you can tell me. Sorry for grammar mistakes, I know I need a beta reader...
AN2: btw, there's also a german version. If someone wants to read it I can upload that one as well- it's even weirder.
Summary: Michiru thinks about her feelings for Setsuna. Michiru's POV, slight Haruka/Michiru/Setsuna. Pretty weird, you've been warned.
Our little Secret
by PlutonianShore
We are best friends and I'm proud of that. We're your only friends and we know the real you. The woman nobody else knows.
The others, they just see the senshi, the tutor. Your strength, your wisdom. But never the sensitive woman that you are. And honestly, I don't want them to see you. I don't want you to show them who you really are. You are our secret that we treasure.
You know, we feel special because you let us in, because you trust us enough to show us your real face. I love it when you talk about unimportant things such as the weather or paint colours or something you found on the internet. Because you never do that when we're with them. With them you're always distant, you only talk when you're asked something and your answers are usually short with just enough information for them to work with. But you never tell them what you think or what you feel, you're just the cool mighty guardian that knows everything.
They don't know that your cooking is horrible, that you don't like the colour yellow or that you sometimes talk in your sleep. And for sure they've never seen you panic and scream at the sight of a cockroach. And I don't ever want them to know…
These are things you don't even show the princess. Not even Small Lady knows that much about you. And that's why I feel so honoured when you talk to me about your fears, your hopes or your feelings. Or when you say nothing at all but just let me watch you when you've put that guard of yours down that you always wear in front of them.
I know you would do anything for our princess. You would give your own life to her.
But you never give her these things you give to us. You never let her see the real you and this fact makes you all the more precious to me.
I don't want them to know you.
I want you to stay my, our little secret.
Right now I'm sitting next to you. You fell asleep on the blanket we've spread out in our garden. We were having lunch out here in the sun and then you fell asleep.
I softly run my hand through your long silky hair- something the other girls will never be able to do. You stir slightly and open your eyes. I smile down at you but don't stop playing with your dark hair. You smile back and I caress your cheek. My heart flutters as you lean into the touch. I lie down beside you and for a while we just stare at each other. Garnet against aquamarine.
Haruka comes out of the house. Her hair is dripping from the cold shower she just took. She kneels down at the other side of you.
"Hey, scooch over", she says and you snuggle closer to me to make room for Haruka on the blanket. You are now caught between our bodies and you close your eyes, a happy sigh escaping your lips. Haruka places a kiss on your shoulder and smiles at me. I reach out to take her hand.
We enjoy the silence, the perfection of the moment, the three of us lying here together.
Our folded hands now rest on your hip. Haruka looks at me with loving eyes and I smile at her. Then our eyes fall on you. You seem to have fallen asleep again, still with that happy smile on your face. For a moment we watch you and when our eyes meet again, I'm pretty sure we're thinking the same thing.
You're our little secret.
Like I said. Weird. oO
