Life Has Dragons

Chapter 1: Look what the dragon brought in.

A cold snowy wind rushed around the island. A brunette haired teenaged boy stood outside a black and red hut. His green eyes gazing out to sea, lost in thought. Then a blonde haired teenaged girl rushed out of a blue and silver hut yelling something at the brunette. Then they both retreated to the biggest hut – with wooden dragons heads decorated at the top – and quickly rush inside.

"Oi, it sure is cold out there!" Shivered the brunette.

"Ha! Well why did you just stare out into the ocean? Huh? Answer that Hiccup!" Snapped the blonde.

"Oooo looks like we have to love birds!" Snickered a pale blonde teenaged girl who stood beside a pale blond teenaged boy, who looked suspiciously like her brother. The blonde haired girl sent them a glare but you could tell she was blushing.

"Hehe umm….well I thought saw a new dragon and I was umm….*cough* well thinking about when the storm would be over and um…yea?" Hiccup nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

"It would be an improvement if you had stayed out there." A black haired teenage boy gestured to the blonde haired girl.

"Watch your mouth Snotlout." The blonde hissed, but not before flipping Snotlout on his back and making him squeal.

"Don't hurt me Astrid!" Snotlout squealed.

The two pale haired twins found Snotlout's pain extremely funny, which it really was. Then everyone turned as a tan haired teenaged boy entered the hut. Behind him a black, green eyed dragon shouldered his way into the hut, then tackling Hiccup and licking him.

"AWW BUD! You KNOW that doesn't wash out!" Hiccup semi-greeted – in his own way – the dragon.

"Uh th-the storm is terrible out there. Burr!" Murmured the tan haired boy.

"How long do you think it'll last Fishlegs?" Asked Hiccup, getting up from previously being tackled.

"Well due to the added snow and heavy winds…..um maybe a day or two." He replied, looking through several cards.

"Ok team! Ruff, Tuff gather food supplies, and Fishlegs can you cook the food they find?" Hiccup ordered.

"Sure!" The twins replied in unison.

"I'll get the fire started." Fishlegs said as he walked off towards the fire pit.

"Ok and M'lady can you keep an eye on Snotlout?" Hiccup asked.

"Oi! I don't need watching!" Shouted Snotlout.

"Shut it Snothead!" Astrid snapped, smirking as Snoutlout flinched slightly, and Hiccup's black dragon made a bellowing sound, like a laugh.

"And Hiccup what will you be doing during all this?" Questioned Astrid.

"Umm well Toothless I – Hiccup gestured towards the black dragon – and I are going into the storm to see if that dragon I saw earlier is still here, oh and check if it's injured." Hiccup laughed nervously.

WOOOOOOOOOOO Yay! I finished the first Chappy! Yay for me! And I know I said I would update yesterday but things happened and let's just say my friends are unique, I'll just put it like that for now. Okay soooooooooo I'll see you guys either Friday or Saturday and I'll do a double update if when I get to 7 reviews! Kk sound good?
