Author's Note: This is a challenge written for The Coolest Forum Ever, co-created by Molly of Chazzin Clan and Madison of Higgins Clan. The challenge was that i had to pick five numbers between 0 and 100. These were five events in the warriors series that I had to write about in detail, each a paragraph long (numbers are below). Just so you know, I created some to be multiple paragraphs, but that is only because of the dialogue. Otherwise, each is one paragraph.
8- Bluestar's Death
9- Firestar's Nine Lives
11- The Dog Attack in the first series
13 - When Firestar found Princess
48- Cloudtail's Warrior Ceremony
Bluestar's Death
I sprinted across the rocky cliff, intent on the black dog facing Fireheart. No dog would dare hurt my apprentice! I know now that Firestar will make a great leader, he always tries to do the right thing. As I hit the lead dog, we both went over the edge, towards the frothing river below. As we hit the freezing waters, I managed to get away from the dogs flailing claws but I was still stuck underwater, I wasn't used to swimming and I was already weak. As I grew weaker and weaker, sinking to the bottom, I heard a distant crash and felt something grab my scruff. We broke the surface and I scented my loyal deputy's scent. But I knew that I was going to die. As my body was rested on the bank next to the river, I managed to say a few words to my beloveds before the much-welcomed sight of my mate appeared in front of me.
"Oakheart, I'm ready."
Firestar's Nine Lives
The feeling of my ninth life poured into me. Bluestar stepped back and looked at me with pride.
"Fireheart, you have now received the nine lives of a leader. I now hail you by your new name, Firestar!"
I puffed out my chest in pride as I looked at the nine cats that gave me my lives. I missed them all from Lionheart to Spottedleaf. However, I knew I had to lead my clan for the many seasons to come. I woke up in reality, still hearing my name being called out by my friends.
Dog Attack- First Series
Yapping was heard from far off as I hid in the bushes, waiting for the apprentices to appear. As the horrid sounds of the dogs grew louder, the horrible stench of the crowfood in their teeth almost made me gag. I trembled as twigs snapped, signifying the fast approach of the hunters and hunted. Finally, I couldn't stand it. The apprentices raced through the bracken and charged into my hiding spot, of which I then left. Sprinting, I ran away from the dogs, who I now knew were brutes, monsters, and huge. As I made it to the next spot, I sighed in relief as the next cat sprinted ahead, drawing the dogs away from me. I simply plopped on the ground, too tired to do anything else.
Finding Princess
A scent hit me, making me immediately stop in my tracks. Was that, a kittypet? My patrol sped to where the scent lay and we were all ready for a fight. However, that all changed when we rounded the corner and spotted a very pregnant queen walking along. We challenged her and I managed to take in her scent again. It seemed very… familiar. The queen soon left, hurried, and I took the scent away from my mind. I'd leave it to be, for now.
Cloudtail's Warrior Ceremony
I was thrilled! My nephew, finally becoming a warrior! I was hoping that finally, the clan would accept him, no taunts anymore from the apprentices, and none from any of the warriors. I was thrilled that Bluestar accepted my decision to bring him into the clan, as he is now our best tracker. He had a bright future in the clan, already showing interest with Brightheart. I couldn't wait to watch him become the warrior he was always meant to be.
