"A Girl?"
Pony-
Having Saige as my twin, and in our gang is kind of weird. Since she's my sister in all. The only reason she meet the gang is because mama said to bring her so she wouldn't be left out. Saige is annoying to me, really, really annoying. I know she doesn't or ever will admit it but she looks up to me. Me, Soda, and Darry all know that she is 100% tomboy. She loves getting dirty, and she loves hanging out with us boys. The only girly part about her is her stuff animals, doll house, and her voice. Her voice is soft and sweet, with a southern edge. She wears all boys' clothes too. The first time she meet the gang. I don't think they agreed to having a girl in the gang, at first.
That day Pony's POV-
"I want to come please Pony." Saige said, giving me her puppy dog face. "Saige for the millionth time, No. It's just us guys." I said, avoiding her eyes. We were 5 at the time, but man she can get whiney. "You said that the last time." She said, whining even more. Before I could say anything else mama cut in, "Take your sister." "But mom she's such a tag along." Darry said, walking into the room from the living room. "Yeah mama why can't she just stay here." I said. "I think it will be fun. You will finally get to meet Steve, Saige." Soda said, putting his hand on her shoulder. That made Saige her frowning pouty face turn into a smile, "Yay, I'll go get my boots." Then she ran off to her room. She came back with her boots on and her sketch book (she brings that everywhere). We got to the park everyone was already there. Steve is Soda's now best bud, Dally we just meet not too long ago and Two-bit we know for a while. "Hey guys. Sup, Steve." Soda said. "Hey Soda." Steve said. "And who's this?" Two-bit asked sweetly, going down to Saige's level. Saige gave him a dirty look then said, "I'm not a little kid. I'm the same age as Pony." "You are?" Two-bit asked looking from me to Saige. Saige was a few inches shorter than me. "Their twins." Darry said. "I didn't know you had a twin Pony." Dally said. "I'm 5 minutes older." I said. "Big deal." Saige said rolling her eyes. "Let's play football. Do you know how to play…um…?" Two-bit said. "Saige, and yes." She said. "Okay the teams are me, Steve, Two-bit. Against Pony, Darry, Dally, and Saige." Soda said. We played and our team ended up winning. We all headed back to our house to have lunch. But I was wondering what the rest of the gang thought about Saige, a girl in our gang.
End of that day
Soda-
There not much to say about my little sister being in our group. I think she was tough enough. But that does not mean she can get into fights. Over my dead body.
Two-bit-
Saige is cool for her age, I guess. I had no clue she was the same age as Pony, she looks a lot younger. She's for sure tough enough. I can tell by her personality. I think I could get used to having a girl in the gang. Plus she was kind of cute, for an auburn, I mean. But like the Curtis' are going to let me date her, yeah right.
Steve-
Soda's little sister is very mature for her age. I think she's tough enough she already tackled Pony a couple of times. She's pretty strong, for a girl. I think I could get used to it.
Dally-
Saige is a little kid, and I don't like little kids. I couldn't believe she was the same age as Pony. I thought at least she would be like a year younger but no she's the same age. I have to admit she's a tough little kid. I could get used to having a girl in the gang, I guess. All I'm saying is she better not get on my bad side.
